Lemon Grass
Chef Michelle lives with a deep love for cooking. Born and raised in Thailand, she comes from a family of rice and vegetable farmers. Her mom taught her how to cook rice on their charcoal stove when she was just 7 years old. When the farm's produce was out of season, she would assist her mom in cooking and selling street food.
She moved to Lancaster in 1999 and started working in a Thai restaurant in 2001. From 2004 to 2012, she owned a Thai restaurant named Lemongrass, where she worked as the owner and executive chef. From 2007 to 2018, she owned Narai Exotic Thai Cuisine at Central Market, where she served as the owner and head chef for 11 years. She looks forward to serving traditional Thai cuisine in our community.
